This week we take a look at changes to the BCARES grant program that is now open to businesses in the city limits of Bakersfield and received PPP or Kern Recovers funding. We’ll also have updated information and guidance on PPP forgiveness forms, tips, and ideas of effectively managing your PPP and maximize the amount forgiven. There will also be updates on the Economic Disaster Injury Loan Program, local COVID-19 trends, Kern County’s status under state guidelines, Kern Recovers, and the City of Wasco Relief Grant program.

She’ll also talk about how “Visit California,” the state’s official tourism commission, is tracking data using four key indicators that include travel readiness and consumer sentiment, California activity snapshot, lodging, and air travel indicators.
