"The SBDC were a great help, and the CDF Business Planning and Ownership Training was a really helpful introduction to a whole range of topics that relate to setting up and running a business. We had already completed several of the initial steps towards setting up our company, so some of the content wasn’t as relevant to our situation, but as someone who’d recently gone through many of the milestones they were discussing I could see just how helpful their advice and resources would be for new entrepreneurs. I found the information relating to the later stages of setting up a business especially helpful, particularly the details on further funding sources and proper planning for a healthy business. The team at the SBDC also provided a lot of valuable support through the actual grant application process. Rhonda in particular has been a fantastic resource, available to answer any and all questions, no matter how trivial. I’d wholeheartedly recommend that any aspiring entrepreneur seek out their local SBDC and take advantage of the brilliant support and resources that they offer." – David Tysoe, CEO

Client initially came to SBDC in late 2020 asking for assistance with setting up their business soundly, including development of a business plan. We assisted the client with creating his business plan, marketing, and trademarking his name. Most recently we were able to provide additional services through the California Dream Fund grant program where he was awarded $5,000 grant.
