This is an introductory online course providing the basic knowledge of the business startup process as facilitated by the Valley Sierra Small Business Development Center. Our work together will focus on the startup process, with the intention of participants launching their business at the end of the month long program.
Session 1: Introduction to Course, Cohort, Instructor and Business Plan
Session 2: Business Entities/ Business Structure, Taxes
Session 3: Insurance, HR, and Other Employer Requirements
Session 4: Business Checking Account, Bookkeeping and Basic Accounting
