Pandemic webinar for local businesses to provide funding relief updates

Local small business owners including independent contractors, sole proprietors, farmers and single member LLCs are now eligible, and can learn helpful information, to apply for the Paycheck Protection Program and Economic Injury Disaster Loans in a webinar hosted by the Small Business Development Center at CSU Bakersfield this week.

“Managing Your Small Business during the Pandemic Crisis” will be online Wednesday, April 15, from 12:00 p.m. to 1 p.m.

Other topics include resources available for businesses to help upon restart, potential resources for those without a bank, and much more.

This is the fifth in a weekly webinar series that provides updates on critical funding options such as disaster loans, federal and state stimulus packages, employee programs, plus opportunities and business suggestions. Register online at www.tinyurl.com/BusinessRelief5 to attend.

The SBDC remains available for free one-on-one consulting to help small business owners. New and existing businesses can go to www.csubsbdc.com for more information or to sign up for assistance.
