Psyched to Grow offers psychological services such as testing and evaluations for autism, ADHD, and learning delays as well as therapy for neurodivergent kids and teens. Their comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations go beyond just a diagnosis. They provide a clear, personalized roadmap to help parents understand their child’s strengths, challenges, and best path forward.
For over 12 years, Jasmin Loza has helped families navigate the complexities of their child’s learning and development. In working within the school system, she saw the immense need for services such as hers, as neurodivergency continues to grow in school-aged children. As both a psychologist and mother, she understands the uncertainty parents face when seeking answers and the peace of mind that comes from having the right guidance. That understanding and drive is what pushed her to begin Psyched to Grow, and it is what fuels her to keep expanding her business.
The client came to the Valley Sierra Small Business Development Center seeking support in developing streamlined systems within her business, as well as gaining greater clarity around her revenue streams to support sustainable growth. With her business expanding at a rapid pace, she was looking for strategic guidance to better manage operations and scale effectively.
The SBDC supported the client by helping her organize and refine her three year business projections. SBDC advisor, Rhonda Lowe, worked closely with the client, utilizing the Lean Plan program to organize each of her revenue streams to identify opportunities for growth. The client has also dedicated time to systemizing her operations, positioning her business for sustainable expansion.
As the client’s business continued to grow, the increasing demand highlighted the need to expand her personnel. With the guidance of the SBDC and her advisor, the client was able to successfully grow her staff to five part-time employees who now play a key role in assisting with her ongoing operations. As a result of this expansion, Psyched to Grow saw an increase in business revenue and activity.
The client believed the most important aspect of the assistance she received was the one-on-one business coaching with her advisor. The client had several questions when navigating her business journey and the SBDC was there to assist her every step of the way.
